OLD BUSINESS

  • Delinquent dues: Dave Stark will send messages via Yahoogroups and Gmail giving last notice to pay before removal from roster.
  • Bouncing emails: Dave Stark will be requesting verification of member contact info.
  • January program: Tony Pazzola arranged for Red Cross to send instructor on January 21 to teach Introduction to Disaster Services.
  • Dave Stark arranged for Chris Hunter to conduct a curator's tour for members who do not need the certification.
  • Field Day committee: Dennis Cote (W1WV) recommended as Chair; JJ will ask him.

NEW BUSINESS

  • SMARA mail: April Chinski reports that SMARA's bank statements have been forwarded to her already opened by Museum staff. The Board agrees that this should not happen. Upon motion by April, seconded by Tony, the Board decided unanimously to change the club's mailing address at the bank to the current Treasurer's home.
  • Club storage: The Board has become aware that SMARA has had a storage area somewhere in Rotterdam for several years. As we are responsible for SMARA's property, arrangements shall be made to inventory this area. Dave Stark will email Chris Hunter about this.
  • February program: Dennis Cote has agreed to present a program about antennas for the February 18 meeting.

Meeting adjourned at 9:05 P.M. (21:05) by unanimous consent.

Respectfully submitted by David Stark, NF2G, SMARA Secretary
