SMARA Board Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order by President Becky KC2BYZ, present were
Becky KC2BYZ, Bob KF4UVA, Mike KB2VQS, Tim WA2QAC, and Tony W2BEJ.
Motion made to accept December Minutes, Minutes accepted by all board
members.

Treasurer Report:
Checking - $705.64
Petty Cash - $84.56
Repeater Fund - $222.00

Total - $1290.20

Treasurer Report accepted by the board.

Radio Room Report,

Radio Room Officer Mike KB2VQS reports: All is ready for Kids Day
(Follow up) Kids Day went very well with much media coverage and help from the Museum staff. Museum was very pleased.

On air meeting to be held at 7:30 pm Thursday January 11, 2007 on
the 146.790 repeater.

January Social meeting to be held at Studio 3 of the Schenectady
Museum on Thursday January 18, 2007 at 7:30 pm. We will be having
Chili. Mike KB2VQS will be making a few pots of hot chili, so if you like it weak please bring your own. We will also need bread, cheese, ice, soda, and desert. Speaker is W2XOY, topic is shortwave radio.

Tony W2BEJ reported he has reserved August 4, 2007 at 12 noon at the Shaker Road Fire House for the SMARA Picnic. No rain date.
