SMARA Executive Board Meeting, March, 2010
Present were President JJ MacMurray (N2UZQ), Secretary David Stark (NF2G), Treasurer April Chinski (KC2VWW), Station Trustee Tony Pazzola (W2BEJ).
Meeting called to order at 21:00 by President.
The next Board meeting would fall on April 2, which is a holiday. JJ will poll the Board for an acceptable date.
Treasurer's report read by April Chinski.
Fees in the amount of $25.48 were deducted from checking.
The Board realized that the Repeater Fund balance has been double-counted in previous minutes because that money has been part of the checking account. Upon motion by President and Treasurer, Board voted unanimously to move the Repeater Fund balance to a savings account.

Club Station report by JJ MacMurray on behalf of Mike Maloy.
Radio Room Officer Mike Maloy has a current member roster and can verify club station access.
Water leaked into the radio room again. Museum made repairs, no damage to our equipment. Darrin, KA3CUW, donated a Yaesu FT-101E for parts.
OLD BUSINESS
Fund Raising Possibilities:
Program:
- One-time tax-deductible donation from members for maintenance of station equipment.
- Local foundations - Treasurer April will investigate further and report to Board.
- Tony, W2BEJ, to present on MARS at next general meeting. Food to be chili & hots, need somebody to bring rolls.
NEW BUSINESS
- Battenkill Bike Race - SMARA can obtain a donation of $100 for each 10 volunteers we can provide. JJ coordinating.
- Secretary Dave to compose proposed amendments to SMARA Constitution for next Board meeting.
