SMARA Board Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order by President Mike KB2VQS, present were James N2UZQ, Tim WA2QAC, April (Secretary), Tony W2BEJ and Becky KC2BYZ . Motion made to accept February's Minutes, the minutes were accepted by all board members.
Treasurer Report:
Food Tips- $15.10
Checking $1231.73 Petty Cash $161.66 Repeater Fund $222.00 Total $1393.39
Treasurer Report accepted by all board members.
Radio Room ReportLooking for a Radio Room Officer and Committee members for the Radio Room.
Board discussed the following:Coming SMARA Events for the New Year are as follows:
- Spoke about Kids Club Meetings will be starting up the end of May. Looking for volunteers to help with kids club.
- Tony will be going back to see what is going on with the link getting 2 meter hooked up. Will be speaking to Barry.
- Denis W1WV is getting ready for Field Day which is 2 months away. James and Mike will be getting computers ready to speak to each other.
- We are also starting to take Donations for soda and items needed for kids club, field day and the annual picnic. If you know any places that would donate items please let Becky Maloy Know so she can get a letter out to them.
- The Social Meeting will be upstairs at the museum
- 4/16/09 SOCIAL MEETING Thursday 7:30 pm at the Schenectady Museum. We will be having HotDogs and Macaroni Salad. Everyone who wishes to participate can bring drinks, dessert or add to the TIP JAR.
- Saturday Mornings is buffett Mornings. Please listen to the Smara Repeater Tony will announce where and when all are welcome to join in for a meal and conversations.
