SMARA Board Meeting Minutes

7/2/08 7:30 pm

Meeting called to order by President Mike KB2VQS, present were James N2UZQ, Tim WA2QAC, Becky KC2BYZ and Tony W2BEJ. Motion made to accept June Minutes, Minutes accepted by all board members.

Treasurer Report:

Checking	$1303.67
Petty Cash	$22.45
Repeater Fund	$222.00
Total	$1326.12

Paid out $128.55 for Field Day t-shirts.

Club members donated a total of $196.93.

We had donations of items from the following stores:

• Price Chopper - 4pkgs paper plates & 4 12/packs of soda
• Wal-Mart - 3 cases water
• CVS - plastic table clothes

Treasurer Report accepted by all board members.

Radio Room Report

Radio room is now back in service.

Board discussed the following:

Field Day 2008

The Field Day Chairman James N2UZQ would like to thank the board and membership for all their hard work during Field Day 2008. Look for more on Field Day including the final submitted scores and some photos in the News Blog via the web site www.smara.com.

Coming SMARA Events are as follows:

• ON AIR BUSINESS MEETING 7:30 PM THURSDAY July 10, 2008 146.790
• *** NO SOCIAL MEETING FOR JULY AND AUGUST***
• The club picnic will be held on Saturday August 9, 2008 at 12:00 noon. There will be door prizes and a 50/50 this year.
