SMARA Board Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order by President Becky KC2BYZ, present were Becky KC2BYZ, Mike KB2VQS, Tim WA2QAC. Motion made to accept June Minutes, Minutes accepted by all board members.

Treasurer Report:

Checking	$890.02
Petty Cash	$309.25
Repeater Fund	$222.00
Total	$1199.27

Treasurer Report accepted by the board.

Radio Room Report

New computer put into service at Collins station.

On air regular business meeting to be held at 7:30 pm Thursday July 12, 2007 on the 146.790 repeater.

July Social Meeting Thursday July 19th 2007 Studio 3 Schenectady Museum. Food is Pizza supplied by the club. Please bring something to share with others.
Their will be no Social meeting in August due to the picnic. The August on air meeting and Board meeting will still take place.

Coming SMARA Events are as follows:

• SMARA Club Picnic August 4th Shaker Road Firehouse 12 pm – 6 pm.
  
  Club to provide hamburgers, hotdogs, rolls, mustard, ketchup, and soda. Members are encouraged to bring salads and deserts. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE BRINGING SOMETHING AND IF YOU ARE ATTENDING. Also membership dues will be collected at the picnic, so please renew your membership. Also coming up will be the elections for Board members. We will be looking for volunteers to head up our nominating committee for the 2008 elections. Remember any member in good standing can run for office.



• Saratoga Hamfest Saturday September 8th 2007 7 am – 3 pm at the Saratoga Fairgrounds. Talk in on the 147.000 repeater.
