SMARA Board Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order by President Becky KC2BYZ, present were Becky KC2BYZ, Mike KB2VQS, Tim WA2QAC and Tony W2BEJ. Motion made to accept July Minutes, Minutes accepted by all board members.

Treasurer Report:

Checking	$884.99
Petty Cash	$178.75
Repeater Fund	$222.00
Total	$1063.74

Treasurer Report accepted by the board.

Radio Room Report

Board discussed repair of Satellite antenna and putting that station into service.

On air regular business meeting to be held at 7:30 pm Thursday August 9, 2007 on the 146.790 repeater. SMARA President to appoint Nominating Committee of no less the 2 members to accept nominations for the 2008 term.

Board discussed SMARA plaque award and other awards to be handed out at the annual dinner. Board discussed possible new location to hold this years annual dinner.

Their will be no Social meeting in August.

Coming SMARA Events are as follows:

• Saratoga Hamfest Saturday September 8th 2007 7 am – 3 pm at the Saratoga Fairgrounds. Talk in on the 147.000 repeater.
