SMARA Board Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order by President Becky KC2BYZ, present were Becky KC2BYZ, Mike KB2VQS, Tim WA2QAC and Tony W2BEJ, and James N2UZQ. Motion made to accept August Minutes, Minutes accepted by all board members.

Treasurer Report:

Checking	$884.99
Petty Cash	$271.75
Repeater Fund	$222.00
Total	$1156.74

$200 paid to Tony W2BEJ for picnic site rental. August 2008 picnic is reserved and date will be August 9th 2008.

Treasurer Report accepted by the board.

Radio Room Report

Donated laptop put into service.

September social meeting is September 20th 2007 7:30 pm Studio 3 Schenectady Museum. Food is pot luck. Bring something to share with others.

2008 Board Nominations are as follows:
President - Mike Maloy KB2VQS
Vice President - James MacMurray N2UZQ
Secretary - Rebecca Maloy KC2BYZ
Treasurer - Tim Moody WA2QAC

Nominations are closed at the end of the on air business meeting which is Thursday September 13th 2007 at 7:30 pm.

Discussion by Board of annual dinner location. Membership to vote at on air meeting for location.

Coming SMARA Events are as follows:

• October 6th 2007 Mars Drill 7:30 am - 12:00 pm Schenectady Museum Studio 3 Club Station.
