SMARA Board Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order by President Mike KB2VQS, present were James N2UZQ, Tim WA2QAC, April Secretary and Becky KC2BYZ ,Motion made to accept Minutes, from Octobers Minutes accepted by all board members.

Treasurer Report:

Petty Cash	$64.56
Repeater Fund	$222.00
Total	$1437.91

Radio Room Report

SMARA Last Years Business: Last years business was discussed board was happy with the results kids day, field day, Public Service Events, and the End of the year Dinner.

Board discussed the following:

• Becky Maloy was voted in as the Food Chairman.
• Setting up time to do Radio Room Inventory.
• Inviting QCWA members to Join the Smara Family.
• Upcoming thoughts on Kids Day, Field Day, Public Service Events and Getting Repairs done on tower and Collins station.
• Putting together a Kids Club and Exam Classes.

Coming SMARA Events for the New Year are as follows:

• SOCIAL MEETING Thursday 7:30 pm November 20, 2008 at the Schenectady Museum. We will be having Pork Chops in a tomato base sauce; we would like everybody to bring something to add to the meal, example, Mash Potatoes, salad, bread W/butter, ice, drinks and dessert.
